Welcome to the
Somerset Police Department
Thank you for your interest in the Somerset Police Department. As the Chief of Police of the Town of Somerset, I take pride in the continued commitment of our officers to collaborate with the community, in not only the prevention and reduction of crime but in the formation of partnerships. We are constantly focused on providing service to the citizens of our town. The Somerset Police Department values honesty, integrity, professionalism, and fairness.
The Somerset Police Department is looking to add at least 10 reserve officers from the 2019 newly established candidate list. From this pool of candidates at least two will be made full-time. The recruitment process will begin once the eligible candidate list is furnished. The Somerset Police Department will maintain the 2019 list for two years, at which point a new test will be administered.
